Why Choose a 2-Speaker and Subwoofer Setup?
A two-speaker and subwoofer configuration provides more flexibility than a basic full-range speaker setup. The JBL PRX615 speakers provide the primary sound output, while the JBL PRX618 18-inch powered subwoofer is dedicated to low-frequency sound. This configuration can be particularly useful for music-focused events and DJ applications where bass response is an important part of the overall sound system.
The powered design also helps simplify the equipment setup by using powered speakers and a powered subwoofer rather than requiring separate external power amplifiers for the speakers.
